Last updated: September 16, 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Meethouse collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our application, website, and related services.
Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, Meethouse may collect or process the following information:
- Name, age, gender, and profile information
- Profile photos and other photos you choose to upload
- Bio, hobbies, interests, profession, and preferences
- Email address and account information
- Location information
- Meet requests and connection information
- Chat messages and communication data
- Voice call information required to provide calling features
- Profile visits and interaction information
- Reward, referral, and Premium subscription information
- Device and technical information needed to operate the app
Location Information
Location is an important part of the Meethouse experience. With your permission, we use your device location to help you discover people nearby and provide location-based features.
Your location shown to other users is approximate by default. Meethouse does not display your exact device location to other users through the standard nearby map experience.
If you choose to use Live Location Sharing when meeting someone, your live location may be shared with the selected person for the duration of that feature.
You can control location permissions through your device settings. Certain features, such as nearby discovery and Travel Mode, may not work without location access.
Profile & Social Information
Information you add to your Meethouse profile may be visible to other users depending on your privacy settings and the features you use.
This may include your name, profile photo, age, bio, hobbies, interests, profession, and other information you choose to make available on your profile.
You should avoid sharing sensitive personal information, such as passwords, financial information, or your home address, in your public profile or conversations.
Chat & Voice Calls
When you connect with another user, Meethouse may process information required to provide chat and in-app voice calling.
Chat messages may be stored so that you can access your conversations and use the messaging functionality.
Voice calls may use third-party communication infrastructure to establish and provide the call. We do not use voice calling to publicly display your phone number to other users.
Privacy Features
Meethouse provides privacy controls that allow you to control how you appear to other users.
- Ghost Mode allows Premium users to hide their location from the nearby map.
- Anonymous Browsing allows Premium users to browse profiles without revealing their profile visit.
- Approximate Location helps prevent your exact device location from being displayed to other users.
- Live Location Sharing is an optional feature that you can choose to use when meeting someone.
Travel Mode
Premium users may use Travel Mode to select another location and discover people around that location. Travel Mode is designed to help users connect with people before or while travelling.
Travel Mode does not automatically mean that your physical device location has changed. It changes the location used for the applicable discovery experience.

We may use collected information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Display nearby profiles and provide location-based discovery
- Enable meet requests and connections
- Provide chat and voice calling
- Provide privacy and safety features

Panic Mode & Safety Features
Meethouse provides Panic Mode to help users quickly access emergency resources. Depending on your location and device, this may provide access to emergency calling and information about nearby hospitals, police stations, metro stations, malls, and other locations.
Panic Mode is provided as a convenience and should not be relied upon as a replacement for official emergency services or professional emergency assistance.
Rewards & Referrals
Meethouse may provide rewards for eligible activities, including daily reward activities and referrals or sharing the service.
We may process information about reward activity, referral codes, invitations, and reward balances to prevent abuse and correctly provide rewards.
Rewards may be subject to additional terms, eligibility requirements, limits, or expiration conditions.
Premium Subscriptions & Payments
Meethouse offers optional Premium subscriptions. Payment information is processed through the applicable payment provider or platform.
We may receive information such as your subscription status, selected plan, transaction identifiers, and subscription dates. We do not need to store your complete payment card information to provide the subscription service.
Third-Party Services
Meethouse may use trusted third-party services to operate parts of the application, including authentication, database infrastructure, cloud services, analytics, payments, maps, notifications, and voice communication.
These providers may process information on our behalf as required to provide their respective services and may have their own privacy policies and terms.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to operate Meethouse, provide requested functionality, protect users, prevent abuse, process payments, or comply with legal obligations.
Information that you intentionally make visible through your profile or interactions may be visible to other Meethouse users.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use appropriate caution when sharing information with other users.
Your Choices & Account Deletion
You can control certain permissions through your device settings, including location, microphone, camera, and notifications.
You may also request deletion of your Meethouse account and associated personal information, subject to information that we may be required to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
Children's Privacy
Meethouse is intended for users who meet the minimum age requirements applicable in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly allow children who are below the applicable minimum age to create accounts or use the service.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Meethouse, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
